iPad with Apple Bluetooth Keyboard

For a bit of browsing and consuming content the Onscreen keyboard will be fine for you.
But if you want to write notes and be more productive you might want to connect an Apple Wireless Keyboard (using bluetooth)
Note that if you have your keyboard already paired to another device you have to unpair it first
Step 1 – Unpair with Apple desktop or laptop
Check if keyboard already paired with your system: System preferences > Bluetooth
If yes, then highlight paired device and click on minus sign, confirm removal:

Step 2 – Pair iPad with keyboard
Turn on Bluetooth in Settings>General
Select Keyboard (You might have to turn keyboard on again – press button on side)
Enter passkey into keyboard – voilà

Enjoy – Apple’s keyboard fits nicely with iPad – just need a stand :- )

Is it me or did this article make you want to buy an iPad?
